- Charlie throws 2nd annual Funky Funky Birthday Dance Party. This time he brings The Croc, the 1972 Volkswagen bus from Circle the Wagen, his feature length documentary on the vintage Volkswagen underground. Charlie, w/ the help of Chad Sengstock of I Shot Photography, turned The Croc into a photobooth, (or, er a PhotoBus). Check back for the pics!

-Charlie celebrates 7 mighty years in Hollywood! Celebrations included a special meal w/ family at Charlie Chaplin’s table at Musso & Franks’s & the second to last performance of The Milford Project , plus some Canter’s for dessert & coffee after. A true day in Hollywood.

-Charlie records the trumpet track on “Change your mind”, a cut off of singer/songwriter Andy Lange’s sophomore album. Due out in September!

-After a sell out run, the musical Charlie is in, The Milford Project, got selected for Best of Fest at The Hollywood Fringe Festival! The extended dates are August 5, 6 & 7. Come catch the last bit of radiation while you still can!

-After over fours years of being in production, Charlie’s indie feature-length documentary on the vintage Volkswagen underground, Circle the Wagen, is in POST-PRODUCTION. Stay tuned for more updates

-Between the Upper Lip and Nasal Passageway: A Modern Account of the Moustache, by director, Ryan Steven Green, featuring Charlie & his moustache, won “BEST DOCUMENTARY SHORT” at the FESTIVUS FILM FESTIVAL in Denver, Colorado. Check it out HERE!
The most phenomenal thing about it all is that not only did the film win but they customized the Skully(the award) w/ a one of a kind magnetic MOUSTACHE!
